System TCS Visio displays on the screen information about the control system and switch machined in the actual time. TCS Visio also enables performing additional functions, such as support in the actual time and diagnostics of a switch machine, and integrating them with the control system.

Information regarding actual state of switch machines and other track-side devices installed within the switch are displayed on the monitor screen and analyzed by specialist software. Distinctive occurrences, indicating the possibility of failure in the nearest future, are immediately reported as alert messages displayed on TCS Visio system screen and may be sent further via e-mail or as an SMS. Thanks to effective prevention of interruptions in tram lines work, resulted from switch machines failures, the availability of tram network has been improved. Consequently, there is no need for periodic maintenance works, which causes additional decrease of general running costs.

Support in the actual time is a logical extension of TCS Visio system visualisation function. This function helps maintenance crews in their daily work. Explanations regarding failures and instructions for maintenance crews are displayed on the screen. Support is given to the workers in a clear and easy-to-understand way, which practically means allowing workers not to have advanced knowledge about operating the system. Stoppage time is shortened and availability of the system is greatly improved.
