CSV 24 – electro-hydraulic switch machine
One of the main advantages of switch machine CSV 24 is its height, only 180 mm, enabling installation at the top of a regular wooden or concrete cross-tie or concrete switch sleeper. Easy, time-saving installation and maintenance assure the highest efficiency and low Life Cycle Cost. Maximum reliability under the most extreme conditions and compatibility with other systems make switch machine CSV 24 the primary choice in case of initial installation or modernization of an existing line.
Switch machine CSV 24 is a perfect solutions for installing in residential areas as the level of emitted noise is greatly reduced. Waterproof casing as well as all the outer parts of the switch machine are made of rust-resisting steel, and each element undergoing mechanical pressure is made of special induction-hardened steel. Additionally, all hydraulic parts are combined into a monolithic block, which allowed eliminating pipes, cables and additional elements of the installation from the system.
Switch machine CSV 24 is compatible with all available control and power supply systems (ranging from 24 to 750 V AC and DC). For the basic version of switch machine CSV 24 with spring setting device there are various additional modules available, such as separate detector rods and internal locking mechanisms (trailable). Due to fully modular structure, all the additional elements may be installed at a later date. Single elements and modules may be quickly and easily exchanged for the new ones, thanks to which both maintenance requirements and costs are decreased.
All the solutions applied in switch machined CSV 24 have been approved by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA).

CSV 34 – manual switch machine
Switch machine CSV 34 has been designed for manually operated grooved rail and T-rail turnouts. In the standard version proven mechanical parts have been used. This switch machine can be easily introduced into presently used switches. Thanks to processing only high quality materials, proven for long-term use under extreme conditions, the need for maintenance works has been minimized and as a consequence, life cycle costs have been reduced.
Manual switch machine CSV 34 is started by a switch throw connected to a spring lever or by a vehicle passing the switch. Two coil springs hold points in the end position and may change the position of points after a vehicle has passed. Dampers, mechanically separated and end position adjustable, enable turning the switch with higher speed and limited noise.
There are additional modules available for switch machine CSV 34: two separate detector rods used for monitoring the position of points and a lock enhancing the holding force of points in the end positions. Using high-quality materials, such as rust-resisting or induction-hardened steel determines the high quality of switch machine CSV 34.
